About 32 Religious groups have come down hard on Rihanna’s visit to Senegal for Charity fund raising towards girls’ education in the country.
The super star is due to appear alongside French President, Emmanuel Macron at a high-level summit in Senegal today but some religious groups have banned her from visiting the country.
Rihanna will be visiting the West African nation in her role as an ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). The organization aims to help fund the teaching of millions of children and young people in developing countries.
However, Senegal’s interior minister has been quoted as saying he will ensure the safety of all conference attendees.
